i'd really like to be able to assign a device/plug-in to either side of the xfader. the way you can in an analog mixer like the xone 62. you could put one filter accross A and one accross B rather than having to put a filter on every track in the session. less cpu? and easier control.

Use sends.

Instead of assigning tracks to A or B send them to send 1 or 2, and set their outputs to "sends only". Then assign send 1 to A and send 2 to B and add your plug ins to the send tracks.
