Follow action "when clip ends"
Follow action "when clip ends"
Live is too BPM dependent, which is most apparent in its follow functions. Just adding this simple feature would make the follow actions such an experimental feature. Launch the next clip when the current clip ends. Simple!

bumb big time!
This would be a massive aid in my work.
I would also like to see a time variant added. For example:
End + an empty field where a time can be entered:
- End + 1 minute
- End + 30 seconds
, etc.
This time field could be represented as 00:00:00 for hours, minutes, seconds.
Then there could be some time before the follow action is executed.
While there may be a work around, this would be so immediate & helpful.

Keep wishing, don't give up! Let's keep this under the collective Ableton nose! If they are actually watching this, that is...forge wrote:+1

Live would be one of the coolest generative music makers if this was implemented.
So, I hope that you all don't mind, but I'm going to keep bumping this mofo!
This would make my day!
It would then be simpler to use the session view with live bands. Typing in all the follow actions can be dangerous (mistake wise) and takes too long. I end up using arrangement view for a lot of click tracks simply because it's easier, but being able to drag around sections of songs would be so much easier when changing the arrangement of the song (on the fly or before hand).

Very good idea.
I'd love to have both the option to play next, or named clip, on end; plus the time field to specify a delay before the next/named clip plays.
Hopefully we'll get there, because when we do, what fun!

I agree for the most part but to me it should have already been default to the length of the clip vs whatever it defaults to now for length. And is there a random option for next, if not, there should be a random option on top of first, last, previous, etc...
