live 5 to live 7

im a newby here so my question is ...i currently have live lite6.10 i have just purchased live 5 --full version...new is in the plastic wrap........can i update from 5 to 7....secondly should i un-install the lite version .....and what should i do with my tracks ...will 7 recognize these tracks if i save them to a seperate file.....say on my desk top..........

Well, if you register you live 5 on this website you can purchase an upgrade to version 7. You can leave the lite version installed if you want but I guess it is better to start with a clean sheet, in other words removing the lite version.
Live 7 will work with you existing projects, be aware though that when you save your work with version 7 you won't be able to open it again in a prior version.
