Major problems bouncing audio 6.09

Everytime I bounce audio, there is quality degradation. So frustrated! Could somebody please try my 3 tests below and tell me if it works for them??? Thanks
If I record from one track to another (the source can be a softsynth or a sample), the resulting track is not exactly the same as the source (I have done a file compare in Wavelab).
At first I noticed the timing was slightly out, so I went through the Driver Error Compensation (DEC) test. Having successfully completed that, I could see that audio being routed out, and back into the audio device, was recording in time. However, if I bounce the file, it is again not the same as the source.
All in all there are 3 ways I have tried bouncing files, all unsuccessfully. Simplest first:
1)Drop a sample into an arrangement track. Render the track to disc. Compare the original to the rendered file. They are not the same.
2)Drop a sample into an arrangement track. Record the file into another track. Upon zooming in fully, I can see that the start points of the 2 tracks differ by a frame or 2.
3)Drop a sample into an arrangement track, output to external channel. Record on another track that is using that same external channel as input. Having completed the DEC test above, I can see that the samples look identical, and there is identical spacing at the start of the samples. But when I render both of these to disc, and compare them to each other, as well as the original, they are all 3 different.
HELP!!! I seem to have tried everything, including:
* using a different audio device
* unplugging all other devices from my notebook
* making sure that the FADE, WARP options are off
* when rendering, and recording, making sure all unused inputs are set to no inputs to avoid any possible background noise.
*checked monitoring options to make sure that there isn't 2 signals being recorded/sent to the master.
Thanks for your time
Justin
p.s. I posted yesterday as the first half for this problem, sorry about the repost.
