Trip hop WIP

Hey people,

I have been working during 3 hours on a trip hop song that i'd like to improve. I have a friend of mine that would sing on this one, she has a very nice voice so that could be interesting. It's kind of WIP so...

Any comment / critics is welcome! have a nice day.

The whisteling at 2:05 is crap but that was just for illustration :p

I'm listening to it right now.

I like the loud drums, but the snare is a little too loud for me.

I really like the reverby guitar sound.
chord progression good, and I like the deep baseline.

I could here this on a movie soundtrack, or commercial or something.

would be great w/ a female vocalist.

I agree about the snare, I realized that this morning while listening with headphones.

I'll correct this, and intensify a little the bassline, make it more 'round' also.

Also, a female vocalist is planned, a romanian girl that has a very soft and cute voice.

I recorded the guitar with a small microphone, effects are done with my Boss me-8 multi-effects pedal and lightly edited in Ableton.

I'll work on it very soon
