Re: MIDI Mapping and its possibilities

Hi there,
This might be an obvious question but I've searched the manual high and low.
Also, a guy at Guitar Center said "Yeah, what you want to do is possible. Can't
remember how you do it though." Classic.
Here it is:
Is it possible to midi-map a button and make it trigger of simulteneous automation moves, controlling more than one thing at once?
Example: Instead of mapping a button on my Trigger Finger to just cue a loop, can I have it cue the loop, cross-fade two tracks at a pre-specified speed and then turn an effect on in another channel?
I'm looking to map buttons to do more things than I have hands for at certain key moments in my performance.
If this is possible, can it be done with Live alone? Do I need some other software?
Thanks for your help in advance!
