Apple Wireless Keyboard and Live, how they work together?

Hi,
A store nearby is offering a discounted (old series - White) Apple Wireless Keyboard. I've heard that this Bluetooth Keyboard cannot be used to input
notes or used as Key controllers in Live as their wired counterpart. Have you got any experience you can share?

Works fine for me as I'm using a old white bluetooth keyboard and mouse.

I have a like new white wireless keyboard, and wireless mighty mouse. Always worked fine with Live. They both are in the respective boxes still. I would be willing to post both on ebay as a buy it now for $50 + shipping if anyone is interested.
I now have the aluminum keyboard and a wired mouse. I can post pics if need be. Anyone interested message me. I have class later today but I will be around.
My huge apologies for trying to unload these items on this forum - but I hate to see perfect condition equipment not being used at all.

I was speaking in general. The offering is on the white one though.
I don't have experiences with BlueTooth ....
