Hi, if i purchase the downloadable version of ableton
7 suite (upgrade from live 5) and buy a new computer
say in two months time, how would i get ableton 7 on
to my new comupter? Is it possible for me to
re-download it on to my new computer? Thanks.

Yup. It's not like the download itself is protected or secret in any way. Anyone can download from anywhere. It's that serial that you got. That's the key.
