exporting with loop on

why is it when i export audio with "export as loop" on it doesn't loop by default when i drag it back into live?
Did you check the manual for what "render as loop" actually means?
It means that it'll play the soundfile one time through before rendering. This way any reverb tails or stuff that'd normally be at the end of your loop, and overlap the beginning of the loop smoothly, will be captured.
You still have to press the "loop" button when you import that soundfile.
If you want to save Warp markers, loop on/off, etc..., you want to save a "Live clip."
