for
1. better workflow.
2. for building up a track in a live situation and then go back to the original scene.
Multiple mapping takes to much time in a spontaneous situation.

as far as soloing goes, there is a way to unsolo all. let's say you start with the kick soloed and then solo the hats and then the bassline, now next you may want to burst into the full arrangement and unsolo the kick/hat/bass. on macs, holding Cmd while clicking on the solo button of either of those three unsolos any and all soloed tracks, reverting to the full arrangement instantly. my guess is this is Ctrl-click on a pc.
i don't think there's a function to mute/unmute all using the numbered speaker switches though, but this may be enough to accomplish what you have asked for. having used fruityloops studio for 7 years as a "performance" tool by soloing/unsoloing all tracks in a similar fashion led me to this discovery. it's probably in the manual too.

Thanks a lot! I haven`t find it before.
So maybe there will be an "unmuting"-keycommand in the next updates?
