No Stickers!

Grrr...wtf do I put on the back of my snowboard now?

Ah, the eternal snowboard sticker dilemma.

Stickers should be inside the back of the manual. Not there?

Nope, from what I can tell from searching on here as well, there are no stickers with Live 7 :(

If you bought this - http://www.ableton.com/pages/shop/more_ ... to_cart_ri - then you should have stickers. Drop Ableton an email in that case.

Anyway, for 2008, no-stickers are the new stickers. No stomp pad either. Clean is the new black.

Yeah, but the bloody skiers in the queues keep insisting that my board needs loads of scratches on it from their poles. Gits.

Oh and if I don't have a stomp pad, I can't steer off lifts. Which is why I dislocated my shoulder in August!

Don't even get me started one that one. Obviously they like to keep themselves entertained in the queue by playing a game of giant tetris.

Ooh, there's a few centimeters of snow, best get my ski in there. No room? OK, half on the snow, and half on this scowling man's nice plain black board.

Coming up on tomorrow's rant: Tiny wheely bags on the underground.

No stickers in my suite box either. And keep the pad.

Though stomp pads are so 2006  , the Ableton logo is a perfect shape for the coolest/geekiest pad in the queue.

Live-using snowboarders of the world unite!

No stickers in my box neither, but maybe that's because I bought an "update" box from Live 6 LE? No idea..

Yeah mine was an update box as well

Ah well, I suppose it's not that important.

But somehow, it IS!

Ableton ran thru their stock of boxes. One could only guess they were out of stickers too. Instead of letting people wait longer for their box, they probably shipped some without stickers...

Or its the new intern's fault
Dear Ableton Customer,

These are exceptional times at Ableton, and I feel compelled to write
you.

Recently, we launched the most comprehensive release in company
history—Ableton Suite and the robust feature upgrade of our flagship
product, Live 7. Your response has been nothing short of amazing, and
with all due humility, Ableton thanks you.

When you purchase Ableton products, in addition to supporting your own
musical creativity, you also help to support the development of future
upgrades and products, customer support, and educational materials
(e.g., the newly revamped Ableton Live 7 manual and lessons). Ableton
has always been committed to reinvesting in the creation and
improvement of professional audio software.

At this time, however, we need to ask for your forgiveness and
patience as we try to provide the best customer service possible with
our small (but hard working) staff. After nearly six weeks, we are
still late in responding to pricing-, upgrading- and product-related
inquiries. I sincerely hope your musical output has not been similarly
delayed. We have also sold through the first, and in some cases
second, production runs of Ableton boxed products, which is
unfortunately causing delays for some customers awaiting those
products. Upgrades to Ableton Suite from Live 7 have been particularly
time-consuming, as that section of the web store has not yet been
completed. We again apologize and ask for your understanding.

Some additional details:

Please be reassured that if you e-mailed an order to
customercare@ableton.com before the end of day January 15, 2008, you
will be eligible for the advertised special pricing. We will not
forget your order, but you can always call our customer care team in
Berlin at +49 30 288 763-231. Our office hours are Monday-Thursday
10am-10pm, Friday 10am-6pm CET.

If you need additional unlocks, please write to unlocks@ableton.com
(not customercare@ableton.com) for immediate support (within one day).

Thank you again for supporting Ableton by buying our products. We hope
you will find your upgrade worth the wait.

Sincerely,

Gerhard Behles
CEO
Ableton AG

Its just that we need to get to the pow before you guys traverse across the whole damn hill and muck up the freshies

Yeah!

If you snowboarders would just stop ruining our slopes  we could all get along and we'd happily stop scratching your boards!
