load up analog, sampler or any of the otthers, select a patch, play it for a bit - load up another patch...

SKREEEEEEEEETTTCHCHCHCHCHHHHHHH

ears fall off and speakers beg for mercy.

Does anyone else have this problem? has it been mentioned before? search function isn't very good.

Find 2 factory presets that do this 100% of the time.
I've had these issues too, but have been unable to reproduce it constantly. It'll only happen like once when switching between the 2 same presets.

This sort of thing is common in Reaktor ensembles, too.

Changing parameters in physical modeling structures causes all sort of indeterminate things to happen while they are running. It's only when they settle that they sound correct.

If they were muted during a change, that could cause a thump, too. One solution would be to smooth the changes gradually.

After this happening often enough I started putting a Compressor effect to Master track as the first thing when making a new Live Set.
