I am DJing a party for Chinese New Years. Besides the stuff I usually play (loungy, beat-oriented stuff) I would like to throw in some east Asian influenced beats. What would you recommend? BTW: Towa Tei is already on my list!

Thanks

Try the record label Bar de Lune, its done a 3cd compilation called "Oriental Lounge" which is great. Also the "Best of the Far East" double CD set is great. Not sure what record label its out on though. I picked them both up for about 10 quid total in HMV..basically the music is chillout mixed with oriental instruments and vocals, really cool stuff!

Cool! That sounds like exactly what I am after.

Anyone else have some ideas?
