Live performance - Logic 7 and Ableton Live 7

Anyone use these apps together for live stage performances:

If so why and how?

Are you running two computers or one using rewire?

I'm very interested in taking these apps on the road. I like some of Logic's sounds, and its MIDI routing and editing flexibility. Its also easy to play song length audio tracks along with live performances where I can use "OnStage" to select new songs in a set via Program changes.

I also like Ableton Live's interface and ability to play loops MUCH better than Logic. PLaying a chorus section and then playing a verse section is much easier and you can go between them effortlessly. Also like doing stuff like Imogen Heap and Kid Beyond where you are looping yourself and your performance live.

So.... any ideas on how you would use some of this stuff together on one computer???

I know I could use two computers and sync the tempos, but budget is making me look at one computer...

TIA

I can first start Logic 8 then start Live (V.6) and it´s in rewire mode. Doesn´t work in reverse way. And if you look at Live in slave mode, you cannot use plugins. So it´s widely useless. Start Live first then Logic there is no rewire and you´ll have the sinc problem. Use two Computers and try to sync. I don´t know how. :?
