Live 7 more stable under Tiger or Leopard?

Live 7 is crashing (beach ball forever) like CRAZY under 10.4.11 on a 2 GHz G5.
Would it be better off if I installed Leopard?
Either way, this is easily the most unstable app I've ever used.

Hello megahurt,
There is definitely something wrong with your Live installation.
Please send me these info´s to look into this:
1. Your version of Live (if you don't know which version you use, see the Live "about" window)
2. Your computer configuration and operating system
3. Your audio hardware
4. A detailed description of the problem
If you are having technical problems with Live, it is helpful if you attach your Live "Log.txt" file to the e-mail. This file contains useful information for identifying problems. The Log.txt file can be found in following location:
• Mac OS X: /User/Library/Preferences/Ableton
Notes:
• OS X users: If you experience Live crashes, please send us also your Live Crash Log. You can find this here: /Users/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Live.crash.log
• Please send the files as .zip attachment.
Best,
Christian Kleine

Version 6 worked fine with only a very occasional crash.
1. 7.0.1
2. iMac G5 2 GHz. 2 GB ram
3. Digidesign M Box
4. I currently have less than 10 tracks. About 6 of them are instances of NI Kore 2 or Battery 3. When not editing a track, every track is frozen.
I sent my log file.

That sucks. I'm still using Live 5. I'm wanting to upgrade to live 7 but it recommends that you have osx 10.4 or later. I'm running osx panther 10.3.9 and it works great for Live 5 & Final Scratch 2. It's just scary to go and upgrade your operating system or software programs sometimes. I dj at least once a week and if I go and upgrade to Leopard and I have a problem with FS or Live then I'm back to bring 3 or 4 crates of vinyl to my gig. Then there's the whole NI & Stanton splitting on Final Scratch with NI now just supporting Traktor Scratch. I might go over to Serato if I cant get a deal from NI on the new Traktor Scratch sytem. So I'm going to wait till spring when I get a break from dj'n every week and dive into all the hastles of upgrading then.
So to conclude I sympathize with your situation with your upgrade problems.
