RemoteSL Compact as a step sequencer

Post by Namihei » Thu Jan 24, 2008 1:03 pm

http://music.geocities.jp/icontrolit56/

currently mac and Compact(required LED and Speed Dial) only.

-monophonic x8 part
-maximum 32 step
-pitch,velocity,gate time and 3 assignable Control Change for each part
-100 pattern memory
-LED and LCD feedback
-Rewire sync (tempo and play/stop only)

send(and write if you want) a sysex file to your SL compact first
it is too buggy yet

Great!

I was thinging about a similar solution yesterday.
Do you know if it works on the Remote Zero SL
or standard SL keyboard?

Thanks, looking forward to it.

Now, let´s convince Novation to make a extended
leftside version of the Remote Zero SL with 16 drum
pad and knobs I we will have a great step sequencer
/vel sensitive drum/percussion controller with backlit
pads.Muahaha....it´s going to kill the competition out
there.

I just sold my Elektron machinedrum to build up a
similar, but more flexible setup in Live with a MIDI
Keyb and a Trigger Finger but this is going to make
the experience more alike.

I forgot Live automap.both can't be used at the same time.
this issue will be fixed in ver.0.2(or 0.3).

This is cool!! I can get every function buy play to work in standalone mode. Does it need a host sequencer to power its clock, or can it use the internal one?
