Hi guys, once again thanks to all those who have given me advice on how to begin to work with Ableton Live. Have just put my first track together and although I know it is far from good in contrast to the work many of you guys produce, I would value any criticism so that I can improve and gather tips for my next tune. I have just got hold of Bob Katz book on mastering so hopefully I can begin to learn basic eqing etc as I'm sure this tune is an EQ horror. Feedback welcome and will be reciprocated if you provide a link to your tracks.

Sounds like he's saying "Back the funk!"

And I, for one, back your funk. Good show!

Not bad :)

Is it me or does the bassline sound a little off key :?

no it isnt you. It needs a fine pitch adjustment, but to be honest I have tried to resolve it with my limited knowledge and decided it wasnt bad enough to warrant worrying about. f you have any suggestions I'm ready to learn, but part of me thinks it could be the wide spectrum of guitar sounds that are making it sound off key or perhaps the effects Ive added to the bassline itself!
