dual monitor: "save as" dialog disappears

I had 2 monitors on a laptop, using 'extend desktop' - then I changed the configuration so that only the external monitor is on but Live still thought there were 2 monitors and when I tried to do "save as" the dialog was missing and I had to change back to 'extended desktop' to find it
