ASIO4ALL v2.8 Beta 2 Help?

I've been advised by our wonderfully verbal tech support to install and use ASIO4ALL...
I use a Line6 Toneport UX2, disabled all other audio (HDA device, SigmaTel HDA CODEC). The two options in the dropdown for my Toneport device read "Out: 2x 44.1-48 kHz, 24 Bits" and "In: 2x 44.1-48 kHz, 24 bits". The "Out" row is reading "unavailable", but the in row is "running". I'm thinking this is why the ASIO4ALL is not working...
After scouring the manual and forums as usual, I'm stuck. I read something about disabling Microsoft Wavetable GS midi in/outs. This might also be the solution but I can't find how to do this. (Vista 32bit) Can anyone help me out? Please be specific if possible.
