How do I groove quantize a drum pattern in Live?
I can't find it anywhere except the swing which is not so useful.
Thanks!

Option 1: RTFM
Option 2: Edit -> Record Quantization -> Something.

Are you quantizing a loop/clip or a midi pattern? To quantize a loop I usually do it manually using warp markers. To quantize a midi pattern you can either do it by hand or you can use the quantize feature. Press Ctrl/Apple A to select all the notes then press Ctrl/Apple U to quantize. Hope this helps.

Open Live and look up on the main bar. Next to your your metronome and time signature selector is a square box with the number "0". This is your groove control, aka "rubber band". Now, in a clip you have a groove option. Here you can select whether or not you'd like the groove applied to 8th, 16th, or 32nd. Select "Straight" if you don't want groove applied to the selected clip.
Hope that helps... Fly Safe

By drum pattern you nust mean a midi pattern? if so you can apply the same shuffle settings that every other sequencer offers:
press command U while the notes are selected, and quantize them straight. Then, quantize again using triplets value, but set at a lower quantize amount, maybe 12% at 16th trips...
This is how variable shuiffle works for all sequencers including Reason 4, although for some reason they don't quite advertise this functionaltiy at ableton quite as much...
