Live Live 7.02 beta 6 has a few problems here

it was working fine for the last few days but today I couldn't get it to load , it hung while checking packages.
After about 5 minutes I was forced to terminate the application in windows Task manager. I tried to restart the application but nothing happened.

I then went to Taskmanager Process explorer and saw that Live was still there as a process. It was using around 250,000 k of memory, despite not actually being open!

I could not terminate this process no matter what I tried. (I tried Sysinternals Process Explorer in addition to TaskMan)

I restarted my computer and opened Live, this time the program opened correctly. I then went to open a song and the app hung again.

Once again I could terminate the Live application, but the Live process is unkillable and holding 604,464k of memory

I will send a couple of crash dumps. I have one which was produced after the restart, and I will attempt to get another one after I restart my computer again.

I managed to kill the process by turning off my soundcard (RME Fireface) and also my BCR, after I did that the process disappeared all by itself.

The one thing that has changed recently : yesterday I created a Custom User Script for the BCR, and although it was fine all day yesterday - I wonder if that is implicated in today's strangeness ?

I have restarted beta 6 without the BCR powered up and it can load songs and play them.I will do some tests now with the BCR.

I have sent a couple of crash dumps to bugs@

hmmm,
no real conclusion there.

I tried to load Live and various songs with a variety of Ableton Script, My script and no script.

and I got a not very conclusive result.
Basically - it failed to load sometimes, but the next time I tried the failing combination it worked OK.

So although I thought that the Custom User Script would fail, and it did the first time I tried - and the Ableton script worked, the next time I tried - the Ableton script failed. Then I tried again and both scripts worked.
The only one that consistently worked was 'no script'

I have another couple of dumps, I think I will just send them to you. They may be useful in some way
