Hi,
Whenever I start Ableton 7.1 or 7.2b6 a box appears saying
""Sattic Initializer not called"
I asked the Ableton support 3 times for this question but they never replied.
Maybe someone can tell me what thats suppose to mean?
Thanks
A

Hi,
you probably mean "Static Initializer Not Called" - that´s not a Live error message though.
Please try, if you get the same message after renaming your VST folder before starting Live.
Best,
Jörg

Hi Andrej,
one more thing: in case my previous suggestion does not solve the issue, please contact us at
[email protected] with your log.txt file included.
The Log.txt file can be found in following location:
C:/Documents and Settings/your user name/Application Data/Ableton/Live/Preferences
Note that on some Windows systems the application data folder is hidden by default. Here is what you have to do to make it visible:
1. Launch Explorer.
2. Select Tools/Folder Options/View.
3. Check "Show hidden files and folders."
Best,
Jörg

Dear Jörg,
thanks for the reply.
The problem is that I am in contact with your support since 6 months now
and we found out after so much trouble for me that the crashes appear because of some plugins like
(FXPAnsion Guru) and other
That doesnt happen in Cubase or in Sonar though!
So why is Ableton 7 so weak this point?
I grew up with Ableton but the fact that it is becomming so unstable
since the version 7 makes me switch to other sequencers.
