Abes: Give us timestretch in sampler please!

Ok folks. My first poll. And it's an important one. Sampler should absolutely have timestretch so that a sample can be played in different pitches without changing the length of the sample.
Impulse can timestretch!
Clips can timestretch!
Most other samplers like kontakt and battery can do it!
Sampler SHOULD do it! It's the tonal instrument for god's sake!
I'm about to go all stalebread/slicer on this one....
Thank you and goodnight.

Ill give you a 1-up on this one..Just remember when i do my poll for Midi controllable sample start point and MIDI controllable LFO 2 and 3 amounts, to hit that back
Still cant believe that you cant control the LFO amount via MIDI. That dun killed a perfect instrument.

Or aftertouch, pitchbend...I actuallly wrote a Max patch to convert a CC to aftertouch to use...Such a shame i had to do this.

yep..
another one that I really don't understand;
when reversing a sample it will
always playback from sample end,
not from loop end..
so when your sample has alot of silent tail or you just want to start it somewhere in the middle,
you first have to crop it.. arghh..

Plogue is good at this type of thing..
and i agree that Sampler badly needs timestretch and pitchshift... ive asked this many times also!

My friend you have no idea how many times I've requested this!
I brought it up in the Live 6 beta testing, then again in the Live 7 beta testing. And I've suggested it emphatically in the Wishlist forum.
I'm with you.
Sampler could be so much more. And what gets me is that most of crucial missing elements are already in the program is some form or in lesser ableton devices.

Absolutely! Sampler could and should be so much more.
yep!

with numbered multiple warp markers would be nice - so you could for instance set points within the sample, which would be jumped to according to their numbered sequence - time warping in between them if required.
Would be then great if you could also then set the number of times it should loop between markers and in which direction they should play.
Please Abes, Pimp my Sampler!

mike, I think I'm more interested in your LFO request than time-stretch. Though time-stretch would be neat, even if we are talking the simple time-stretch in impulse.

we shouldn't even be requesting this... it should've been included in the first place
