Again: Warp markers assignable as cue points

Making warp markers assignable as cue points (with color and titles) that could then each be assigned to MIDI notes would be nice for DJing, etc.
This would eliminate the need for duplicating the same track over and over again and manually offsetting the start point (which is beautifully useful).
Cue points would also give us the ability to visually mark sections of a clip, be it verse, chorus, break, part one, part two, etc. And make it easier and clearer to see the various parts during performance.
What say you?
Any other ideas relating to this?

Yeah, why not leave the warp markers alone and create other types of markers, like cue, loop and text labeled markers?

I can't imagine turning a warp marker a color with a bit of code that tells Live to jump to it when X midi note is pressed would affect it in ANY way.
Explain to me how that would be a bad thing.
Also, Live already has Loop markers. They can be turned on and off and placed with 3 buttons/MIDI notes currently.

Where did i say it was bad?
I just said that imo, they should had other types of markers, and i mentioned loop markers as in *multiple* loop markers.

Sorry. You didn't say multiple. I agree with multiple loop markers. That would be nice. Especially for longer tracks.
I figure they could be any marker and be all markers at the same time. Notes, Cues, Loops, and warp markers.
If we could color code them to our own preferences (like clips can be), we as useers could decide what each markr is. Say all red markers are basic cue points, Blue are flags for verse and chorus position, etc.
I can't understand why the Abs haven't implimented this in some way. I would love to get an answer besides the deafening silence they have offered up so far.

Yes please, and while we're at it...
Colored regions with assignable colors and text labels for loops.

The way I see it, warp markers would still be there. (It would be like Live changing to a video-only editor - it wouldn't be the same program at all, much less an improvement on it) We would be able to assign certain markers as cue points and loop markers WHILE they are warping. I couldn't imagine Live's Warp markers going away whatsoever.
Warp markers would be every type of marker...
Am I missing something?

I want some stuff in place so i can identify parts of my (warped) tracks more easily. Where does that asome vocal or break start, when do the end. Store preset loops. All this thanks to the beautifull concept of warp markers. Like those scratching dj's putting stickers and stuff on thier records.
Using digital audio on hard drives and Live we're left in the dark. It's up to you (us) and a good waveform memory to see what's where. Wouldn't it be cool if we could mark our tracks like those vinyl junkies out there. Would certainly help those of us who are using ableton live dj style.
And please store all this in the .asd file allong with the warp markers when i click save on a clip. Also a save-all to save warp markers in .asd files would be nice. Now i need to click save manually on all my clips. And maybe even warm before overwriting existing warp markers allready in the .asd

Exactly. That is what I am talking about. We do want the same thing.
