hi folks sori for this stupid question but the problem im having is when i insert a midi clip or a audio clip, for example imagine i have a audio bass clip playing in a loop and i have a impulse midi clip beside it as my drum loop, when the the audio bass clip is playing on its own it sounds loud as soon as i punch in my midi impulse drum loop it seems to drop the volume of the audio clip or visa versa as if its equlizing the volumes, i have tried just midi clips together and also audio clips together and it still does it. i have deactivated the arm button to see if this helps but nothing i seem to do corrects this problem can anyone tell me if i have a setting on thats making this happen or am i doin something wrong? sori for this amateur question but help would be much appreciated thanks

Do you have any effects on the master channel?

Also, when you say "seems to", does it drop the volume (in dBfs) for real, or does it just drop your perception of the volume?

If I shout at you, a passing 747 will make my shouting seem less loud.

If I shout at you, putting in earplugs will make my shouting less loud (to you).

no m8 no effects on the master channel, when the volume drops it doesnt do it to see on the channel or on the screen only to the ear even when i burn my track onto a cd u can still hear the volume drop on each clip once punched in, what seems to help is if i turn both send knobs up on each channel but there is still and equalizing happening
