Loop not fitting grid (?)

So heres the scenario/problem.
Some of my shorter loops(edited in peak)
when placed in live will snap to grid, but when I duplicate them, they
don't warp to fit into the grid, they overlap it.
I'm sure this could be an easy fix but I don't know what it is,
thanks for any help.
(I've tried to turn on warp for the loop and then save it but that does'nt work)
????

Instead of duplicating, you could just turn on LOOP mode, and then drag said loop out as far as you need.

But, seriously, when you duplicate said loop, what are you losing?
I can think of a few things:

1)Warp mode is turned off in duplicate loop
2)Warp markers you set up in first loop are lost in duplicate loop
3)loop brackets are changed to something other than a whole number

Or maybe your first loop was a bit longer than 1.0.0 to begin with?
Try these, or maybe post a screenshot?

That's odd, what version of Live?

5.2.2

its only with smaller loops.
and yes it looks like the loop brackets are gone.
how would i turn these on?
essentially when i drop it, it has everything off(warp, loop etc..)
how would i turn all this on?

i dont think its a glitch,
just for some reason, its a naked file.

when you drop it?

Wait, wait wait, you told us that this error occurs when you duplicate a loop... now you say it happens when you drop the sample into Live?

So, please explain... if the problem Live does not automatically select loop mode and set the loop brackets to 1.0.0 length for you when you bring a short sample into Live?

Or is the problem you bring a short sample into live, you set it to loop and you set the warp markers and loop brackets, then when you use the duplicate command, the new clip no longer retains the Warp markers and Loop bracket?

Under Preferences, what is your setting for Warp Short Samples? unwarped one shot, by any chance?

though i am at work now,
i am willing to bet it is the unwarp one shot setting in the preferences for short samples.
i will let you know.
