Upgraded to 10.5.2 on apple osx. Live application will not launch on G5 . Tried on macbook pro is ok. Please help.

Try deleting your Live preferences file...

I installed leopard on another drive with 10.5 installed for the moment. . Strange thing ( would be interesting to confirm with others ) - selecting ,midi outputs and /or inputs in the preferences section causes audio click / glitch. This is the same noise i have had ruin my recent mixes..Starting to suspect external midi for audio crackle/glitch in mixes. I am using xone3d and mpu64 for midi.

I installed 10.5.2 and live 7.0.2.
Now i get some midi glitches since 10.5.2....

If you turn off airport, do you still get the glitches?

Turned off airport..i still have glitches
turned off multicore ...the same

tomorow i'll try to "time machine" back to 10.5.1..

back to 10.5.1 with time machine:

live 7 is running since 6 hours non stop without glitch now..

Airport is turned ON too ,and time machine is backing up my whole drive at the same time and everything works fine...

So...Leopard 10.5.2 bug or Live 7.0.2 bug?

all fine and dandy here as well. sometimes live crashes unexpectedly on startup.

yes. you are correct. but it was doing this before 10.5.2 upgrade. and it has something to do with MOTU traveler.

i dont know whats 's the matter but i don' t think the MOTU is in cause...,i never had a problem with it...,and it always works 100% with other os and softs

i' m not expert but if i had to guess from where is the problem, i'll search from the side of ableton instead of motu or apple ...MAYBE I'm WRONG

but by experience i can say that apple and motu are very stable,and

they don't release a new soft(whats really new?)+ 6 beta versions (tested by users unstead of beta tester,)just because of namm 08...

Maybe its my mbp or my motu...
