Just in need of somehing new to listen to. Try to keep it within the last year.

I love plaid and trentmoller if that gives you anything to go by (probably says loads and nothing at all!!)

I know this is a bit vague but I thought asking the rest of the world is hopefully going to throw up something new!

check out burial. I'm not really into it, but a lot of cats really dig it. Definately melodic.

also, the slower tracks on the modeselektor record are amazing, like "edgar" for example.

Of course, i'm not really sure what people mean by downtempo at all...

I know what you mean about the word 'downtempo' , but I fuckin' hate the description 'chillout' even more so I usaully go with downtempo. Just 'cos it's slow doesn't mean I want to watch the sun set to it! know what I mean?!

I like some of the burial stuff.

Will check Mode selektor.

Any more?

Your definition of down tempo and melodic might differ from mine.

Boxcutter - Glyphic
Deadbeat - Journeyman's Annual
DeepChord Presents Echospace - The Coldest Season

That's really what this post is all about. I just want to hear about some stuff I haven't heard of (er....if that makes sense?!)

Cheers. :)

Look up the Global Underground: Afterhours Albums...

Lotta good stuff there... Beatport usually has good prices on the whole albums too...

been enjoying The Many Moods of Ben Benjamin Vol. 1 if you're into some post-rock type mellowness.
