is it possible to make the pads trigger each other off?

sorry if this is a noob question...

btw im using 6.0 etc....

As far as I know only slots 7 & 8 have a choke funtion. Select slot 8 and activate 'Link' in the bottom left corner of the interface. Now slots 7 & 8 will mute each other.

that is reasonable for emulatong open/closed hihats, but lets say you have a long deep 808 or 606 subbass.... your screwed

Thats why there's a choke function on Drum Racks.

Yep, unless you have v.7 like Hoffman2k says. It's all about the Drum Racks! Doesn't really help the OP though if he's still on v.6.

If you're programming and not playing live, you can just set all the drum hits to and just make sure none of the notes overlap. Should be same effect.
