Hi all

Im playing my first ever live pa at a club tomorrow night and was thinking to myself, what do I need to set it up?

Im running a Macbook Pro, M-box soundcard and a evolution midi controller. Do I just turn up and plug an ARC jack into the dj mixer and off I go, or is anything else I need to bring?

Any help would be great?

always bring:


a small flashlight - preferably a LED one that is non-invasive.

powerstrip and ground lift.

an extra set of cables. audio, midi, usb, firewire, power whatever you use.

adapters. i like to be able to plug into any kind of main i could possibly encounter.

gaffers tape. you don't want drunk/high people tripping over your leads.

earplugs, esp. if you're playing a club type environment and plan on staying for the whole night.

condoms.

a strap on - in case you want to do the screwnicorn trick.

also bring a snack, you might get hungry!
