Why is Feedback on Delays only up to 95%?

I don't get this and i'm sure it never used to be the case... i'm doing a piece which needs infinite delays and i can't do it in Live??
Ideally i'd like to say a certain amount of times to delay and then stop.. say delay 50 times then stop.. anyway around this?
