Ableton Forum

I'm using OSX 10.4.11 and cannot get the mappings to work with my computer keyboard. The manual has very little information regarding this feature, and I haven't seen any other posts by searching for this problem. Has anyone else had any issues like this, or am I just missing something really obvious?

first thing you could check is that the computer midi keyboard switch is turned on - top right of your session view - left of the box which says "key"

Also check if in Preferences > MIDI ...

your MIDI input should be Remote ON.
