when I upload a song on lets say "myspace" why is the volume so low? I have to crank my speakers all the way up to hear it...Anyone know if this has anything to do with the settings on Live 6?

What's the peak amplitude on your Master fader for your song?
If its well below 0dBfs, then, yes, your song is quiet.
Turn up the volume in Live, but don't clip the audio (run into the red).
After that, well, you gotta learn the wonderful art of mastering.
Read tarakeith's guide &try some of Live's mastering racks on the master channel and see if you can hear the difference.

After you render or record your audio, you're probably going to have to do a slight home mastering job on it. (Note: I use the word SLIGHT)
1. Open the .wav / .aif in peak/wavelab/soundforge
2. Use a maximizer like Waves L2, PSP Vintage Warmer, Izotope Ozone etc
3. Choose a Moderate or Light mastering preset
4. Apply and re-render
This should give your track the little boost it needs.
However, I do not recommend you doing this to pre-masters that you are sending to record labels or other professional projects unless you are really experienced using mastering tools.
Hope this helps.
