can't see vst plugins

hi guys,
i'm working with live 3.04 on a windows machine, PIV. (win2000)
I can't see the vstplugins inside live browser, i have the dll inside vstplugins folder that live scans at start up.
any help please?

Sorry for asking the obvious but ...
So you set the vst directory in "preferences" and it are vst efx not vsti ?

hi mbazzy,
yes i set the vst folder in the preferences menu, i use to run Live on an apple machine and everything is fine..
When i launch Live i can see it scans the vst plugins folder i set but still i can't see them inside the browser.
I had the same prob with my laptop apple G3 but i solved trashing the prefs.
Yes, they're vst fx not vsti..

it seems to work now...
i had 2 vstplugins, and the path was wrong...
can't stand using pc, my mac has a broken hard disk....;-(
