Woodwinds.alp from Live installation DVD - 'Package Corrupt'
Posted: Wed Feb 27, 2008 10:15 am
Hi,
I've just installed Live 7 Suite (Boxed) and have dragged and dropped all of the .alp files on the 3 installation DVDs into live. When the installation had finished I noticed that next to 'Woodwinds' there was an error listed.
All of the other packs are now listed as Installed in Live, except for Woodwinds.
When I now drag and drop 'woodwinds.alp' into Live 7.0.2 it says 'preparing to install' but then this error occurs:
Woodwinds not Installed
Package Corrupt
This package was created by a more recent and incompatible version of Live.
'Unknown compound stream type'
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another problem I have is that Live 7 hasn't installed any presets or lessons for Analog, Electric, Tension or Sampler - is this normal?
If it is normal, is there anywhere I can find information on these instruments apart from in the manual?
Thanks for your help.
