Hi Brother,

website is stil open, they had many mixes coming in, so they're taking more time to select........that's what's written there.........
Herbie is so great....was very inspiring to work with his material!
Hope to hear from them soon though!

Kind regards,

Heiko

Well, I know that Herbie´s got a choice of nine tracks out of 879 to pick the winner, but that was two months ago and on the website hasn´t changed anything since dec. 11......

Thanks for the greatful music you do. I am planning a visit to Amsterdam in August, maybe you perform in these days...

Wish you well...Martin

Let me know when you're coming to A'dam, might be something nice happening, though I might be in the India then too....

Grtz,

Heiko

Seems you didn´t join the group at vudyo.com like about 820 other remixers. I´d really like to hear what was all remixed outside vudyo, but will never know while it´s not pubic. Even many of the 52 tracks uploaded there, although suffering heavily at sound quality, are mostly interresting, if you like, go there and listen. My track is "Herbie Hancock´s butterfies" located on top at http://vudyo.com/gvideos.php?urlkey=hancock&gid=7. Many Grtz, Martin

Dear Mr Venyl,
my english is poor, so I can´t understand your question. What a house tune from H.H.??? Or a H.H. sample in a house tune? So what´s a curly wurly, a dreadlocked rhodes or so? and what´s a pint...grz. m.lo

NO ITS NOT THAT ONE, cant remeber the name of the herbie track it uses, but its basically the first intro guitar loop they use

and a curly wurly is a chocolate bar (or hamster ladder) and a pint is a beer (or a measuring unit)

He MrVinyl, I prefer the chocolate bar, green or black no matter. But the house tune? Takes time, one day I´ll remember... ask Herbie or Verve Records.
