Logic >> Live MIDI Issue

I seem to be the only one having this issue - on two different Macs.
The good news is I can rewire Live into Logic and play any sort of CPU intensive project, while running any number of plugs in Logic.
Basically, when only audio is rewired, everything works perfectly.
The problem arises when I want to use Logic as a straight-up MIDI sequencer for Live. If more than 1 MIDI track is transmitted to Live, everything crashes (in slow-mo).
I've messed with varible audio buffer settings from Logic and the Live multiprocesser/core rewire pref - no luck.
Mind you; this happens on both a PPC G5 & a MacBook. And Reason 3 + Logic is completely stable too.
Anyone else experience this? Help would be much appreciated! Thanks
