i was performing a live set with a friend using two laptops.
i was synced to him and thus acting as a slave.
everything was going fine, my cpu meter was running at about 70% when without warning ableton disapears! no freezing, no crazy noises, just a perfectly clean crash.
the program didnt even hang in the task manager box.
luckily my friend carried on while i started up again, which ableton restored ok but 30 mins later it does it again!

i know im running ableton a little high but version 6 handled it fine


any ideas?

Some people cannot go back to 6, because they started with 7, what do they do?

if next version isn't working for me... im gonna ask for my money back...
live7 will be known as 'live vista' ...

I did not mean those people who had their Live 6 library converted by 7, but those people who don't even own Live 6 but started their Live experience with 7.

This has happened to me twice recently.

Poof straight to the desktop !!!

I have DJ gig coming up on the weekend to about 200 people and I am bricking it. I've played a 5 hr set with 7.02 with no problems, but if it goes at this one I am going to look an absolute c***t.

The only thing i had changed was installing Audio Damage Ricochet and as brilliant as the plug in, I was hoping that was the problem.

Now I'm worried again
