Ableton Live future jazz performance in Vancouver BC

The Sunnyboy Trio returns to Lime (1130 Commercial Dr.), Thursday March 20th, with more future jazz, house, electro, funk, broken beat & dub.
Sunnyboy (Wilson Padmos) brings his soulful, funky touch on the fender rhodes and keys to a sound that is informed as much by Herbie Hancock as it is by Jazzanova. The Sunnyboy Trio is a true hybrid collective, with funky fender bass rubbing up against fat synth lines and abstract electronic textures, while driving acoustic drums and cymbals meld with electronic rhythms. This is for fans of Bugge Wesseltoft, Medeski Martin and Wood, Mark De-Clive Lowe and The Philadelphia Experiment.
