Greetings,

I noticed that when I add warp markers it alters the BPM of the clip.
If I want the clip to play at 160 BPM but the warping has adjusted it 158.5 do I just change the Clip tempo back to 160 to correct?

This whole clip synchronization concept is difficult to get a firm grasp of. I am so use to linear recording of an entire track, from a guitarist point of view, that building up songs this way is very very different.

Hi, no, if you adjust the clip tempo then the start/end warp markers will start to move and your clip will start to drift out of time. If your clip sounds/feels in time already then leave it as it is.

If only some beats are out of time in the clip then you will need to add more warp markers near those beats and adjust them.

Warping clips that are really out of time or odd lengths takes a bit of practise but it is worth putting the time in.
