Ableton Forum

I have tried loading several midi files into Ableton Live and have received the message "this file does not appear to be a valid midi file". These midi files open in other programs and I believe they are the standard type 1 midi file. Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks.

Happens to me from time to time. When I export from Logic Express it does that. I couldn't figure it out though. Curious to see the answer.
