Beta status

Post by Bernd » Sat Jun 26, 2004 2:52 pm

Hi, everybody.

Because there are so many different threads out there around the beta release, I created a new topic so everybody will hoperfully read this.

The software is in pretty good state. So beta testing will start soon. But it will take at least some hours. Perhaps even until tomorrow.

So, I would like to please all of you to relax a bit, enjoy the weekend and give us some time to make the very last things.

If you need to post, please do so in this thread and let the forum come down a bit.

Kind regards, Bernd.

Good idea

There are alot of peeps with alot of free time around here who keep making phoney beta claims (including myslef....hehehe... sorry) so lets all just chill and have some fun learning some new stuff to do in live , thats what I've been doing. I'm still pretty excited though.

if you look at how many views this post has had (around 300 and a bit i think at the moment) then i am starting to think that there isnt going to be the rush that I thought there might. Considering everyone has probably looked at that paticular notice at least 2 that means there are probably only about 200 people MAX who are currently REALLY waiting for the Beta. And since 500 get the first beta, I'm not too worried about not getting it....and neither should you....who's up for a nice big glass of water and coming back in the morning 8) 8) 8)

Would like to participate for Beta 4

Post by moonlight » Sun Jun 27, 2004 1:07 am

Hello Bernd

i bought Live 3 last week just because of the new VSTi and MIDI capabilities in Version 4 and i'm already blown away with Version 3.x. I used to compose in Nuendo, Cubase and Protools but this is a new horizon of technology. It leaves old paths of all the other (great) programs i was used to work with. The GUI is brilliant and my workflow is already x times faster than before.

I would love to be a part of Beta 4. As mentioned above i am working a lot with all kinds of VSTi's and i would love to assist you with the new beta. And of course i can't wait to get my hands on Version 4, since this is the system i always wanted.

Please keep me in mind when releasing beta 4. I'm a registered user, so i should be in your database.

All the best

Claude

First come, first served. If you are on this board around the time the beta is released, you will get to beta test. Have no fear, there are 500 slots open for testing; most of the people that want to test will get to.
