Smooth morphing of time parameters

Is this possible?

e.g i would like to morph the synch mode length knob from 1/4 to 1/24 with the note length midi plugin. At present the morph is not smooth as it 'jumps' through the note lengths in between 1/6, 1/8, 1/12.

I was wondering if there is any plugin or rack workaround that can do this transparently? I can change the knob to 'time' obviously but then i loose perfect synch which is very hard to achieve with the time knob.

Any help on this much appreciated.

Cheers

What about editing the automation of both, the unsynced "smooth" parameter and at the relevant points the synced "stepped" parameter. Just a thought.

You can also calculate the bpm from milliseconds. - you know.

here's a tool for doing this ---> http://www.bjoernbojahr.de/files/wizcalc.zip

thanks for the link, very useful.

kinda know what you mean, i would though like to be able to assign a controller to the time knob and then be able to move between the two 'anchored' synch points e.g 1bar - 1/16 bar and be able to change these on the fly until i get a nice transition i like.

you could set up several delays in a rack, and alternate between them...

course ,had'nt thought of that ,just assigned a controller to the chain selector with crossfade between the selected delay chains. I can think of plenty of use for this.

cheers :)
