Just found this little video and it looks interesting. I've been eying up the Sherman Filterbank for a while for the studio but this could do the job on the road.

Looks interesting.
If I bring my own stuff to a DJ gig I use an EFX-1000 (in my opinion easily the best effects unit ever produced) and a Rane 10-operator stereo parametric which go in a master loop (my mixer has no effects loop or per-channel EQ.)
This could eventually replace the parametric EQ, for me. I am concerned that it might be a bit too fiddly to really work in the "real world" for DJing, however. As an effects box for live performers, studio tweakers, etc..., it looks beautiful regardless.

I'm not sure that Beards are compatible with flters? there's a risk of the hair getting caught up. I think the ponytails probably a safer bet.

ryansupak -Which Rane EQ are you referring to -is it the PEQ55?

Yep -- the PEQ-55. Typical of Rane, it is utterly professional, reliable, sounds impeccable and has tons of practical added-value.

WOW that looks well too posh for showing up, MBP & rack.
'Here mister are you setting up a studio?'

Great for mobile gigs. Balances right on the TT cases and the EFX-1000 sits on top of it (I use CDJs and a rotary mixer.) Doesn't increase the footprint beyond standard battle config at all.
Has fixed up many a bad room for me, plus the spiffy IO options saves me having to carry extra cables and converters...
