I'm kind of at a loss right now as to which direction to take my music, so any feedback would be appreciated!

Any suggestions/constructive criticism?

dither is very nice, all of the notes sound very good and the conceptual beat adds a nice depth to it. It may sound cool if after hitting the notes with your voice for a few sections, hit the same notes with a synth or another instrument as a change.

The beat in joining the yolk flows very nicely and is smooth and relaxing. Only criticism i would offer is to maybe work out a more defined synth or chorus somewhere in the song to give it a little more direction.

"Dither" has a great guitar sound. It reminds me of my cousin just sitting on the front step, strumming on his acoustic and humming a verse from a favorite song. It feels intimate. I like the flipping pages sound on the percussion and how relatively unruly it is a first, then how it settles into the beat. I thought it needed a bit more clarity, but that could be a combination of myspace encoding and my iMac speakers.

I like the sounds on "Joiking the Yoke" but I felt like it was missing one element. I was being lead to another land by the drums and then instead I just got to see it from a distance. It's still is a complete thought, but the sentence lacks an adjective or something. Just my two cents.

Wow! I love what's going on melodically in Dither. It could use some development with other sounds imo, but great potential.

Joiking the Yoke has a cool minimal feel but there are some awkward moments with the beat, when it's on it's great. I like the tribal chant feel stuff as well. The mix needs some help tho - pretty quiet and flat right now.

You've got an interesting style going for sure, I like it!

I really enjoyed Dither. I love the guitar sound as well. Intimate is a good word.
Timeless is another because it sounds like it could have come from long ago.
I also liked your use of vocals. Certainly a direction worth pursuing further.

Thanks sooo much! It's great to hear things I never considered about a track before!

The only thing is, the instrument is supposed to be a harp, although it's a plucked/strummed instrument just like guitars, so it does sound a lot like an acoustic guitar too...is it the playing style that makes it sound more like a guitar I wonder?

It actually does not sound like a guitar to me. I think I used that word because of avatarzero's comment.
I also didn't quite know what to call it so I just tried to stay consistent with previous posts. Guess I was just being lazy.
Either way it sounds good.
