Need help with the trigger finger

I am having trouble with the trigger finger, I am using ableton live 7 and the problem is when ever I am making a beat or something lets say i hit the first pad then the second, when I hit the second one it doesn't stop the first one from playing. I have seen it done in videos, does anyone know how to configure so that every time i press a different pad it will stop playing the previous one? Thanks.

Ok, I'm sorry but these forums are of no help, I am asking a simple question that I couldn't find out through the videos and it takes 5 seconds to answer but it seems I know just as much as every one on this board...

Hi,
A bit of patience and perseverance is often needed when seeking for help.
I guess that you're looking for "choke groups" in the Drum Rack, which are a Live 7 feature. Look into the Live 7 manual, chapter 16.6 about Drum Racks and choke groups.
