Hi there,
Just moved up to Glasgow and I thought I'd look around for some people to muck about with music with. Anyone interested?
You can check out some of my music at
http://www.virb.com/monkeyboydj. I'm not exactly a pro but if anyone else wants someone to mess about with some ideas with then it would be cool to meet up. Just drop me a PM.
I also DJed in London and Vancouver (where I've just got back from living for a year). Play a decent range of stuff, basically anything with a good breakbeat of any tempo would be the best thing to classify it. If anyone fancies a bit of that then PM me too! I've not got a very recent DJ set up on the web at the moment but will try and get one up next week.
Any tips on where to go out, buy records, hear good music etc also appreciated.
Cheers!
I'm living in the West End if that makes any difference to anything...

Cool tastes!!
I'm back into the whole industrial thing again. But Glasgow does not really tailor for that type of music..or any other really lol
more often than not I have been going to other cities for gigs.

^^^what mf said.
IMO Glasgow has loads of stuff going on every week. Clubs like Numbers and Monox always have excellent guests playing and venues like subclub, soundhaus and art school regularly have good nights on. Slamevents and Miscreat forums are good for finding out about gigs.
