I am having a problem syncing the arpeggiator and the beat repeat on my MPK49 with Ableton Live 7. Is anyone else having the same problem.
If you have any solutions it would be much appreciated . When i set the mpk49 to External in Global. I get no sound whern the arpeggiator is triggered,

same here, but I think I remember having read about this a while ago, there's some sort of fix for this....

while we're talking about it, does your mod wheel work in live? does aftertouch work for you? neither seems to work for me....

my modulation wheel works fine and everything else as well. Iti seems so far just to be the arpeggiator and note repeat.

I've been able to fix the mod wheel and AT thing....

regarding the arpeggiator and note repeat. must have the Live preset selected. you must actually play the sequencer for Live's clock to begin generating sync and for the note repeat and arp to start transmitting data. I also dicovered that you must offset the midi clock sync on the out port of live. I think i delayed mine 23ms or so. This allowed the notes to be perfectly quantized with the grid in live. I hope that this issue is resolved by akai in the future. hope this helps.

hmm, I'll have to see if I get a delay, too....

otter, do have midi sync on in the midi out that's routed to the mpk49? I hadn't at first, after I did the arpegiator worked fine...

thanks for the the help. I've got it working I am still experimenting with the midi out setting but seem to be getting there........

Augustus can you give more detail on how you managed to sync the arp and note repeat with the bpm from ableton... it would be really cool for the two to sync together, ive trying to get this to work and nothing is working, tried putting to external on the mpk and the midi settings in live, nothing is working... help would be appreicated... you think it would work out of the box since the mpk came with live lite
