no i am not,

because, 7.0.2 seems to resolve the major part of the
bug i have with live 7, so i expected to have a working version of live 7 with this last release

I install live 7.0.3 this w-e, and it crashes 3 times in five mn,

the first time, live have crashed like live 7.0.1 crashed (when you modify an audio or midi clip)

the second time, it crashed when i load it after i reboot my pc

the third time it crashed when i try to load a project i do on live 7.0.1 with loungelizard 3 vsti (may be theire is an issue to have lounge lizard and electric vsti on the same DAW).

live 6 work fully on my pc, i never have any issue with live since i use it,

but with live 7, to make music is painfull,

every action (to cut a clip, move it, add a note in a midi clip, ....) can lead to a crash that oblige me to reboot,

before live 7 i can work easily on my clips in "play mode" now i stop my song just because i feel live will crash if i do one thing that make live crash,

no have any pleasure now, just the fear to see live crash because i touch it...

to resume ;

with live 7 i lost all the pleasure i have to make music,

my daw is a dell 9200 core2duo with , ati 1300 pcie, 2UAD-1 pci, motu 828 mkii firewire,...

no have any issue before ...

Ableton makes great software, have great support ...

but live 7 is painfull

i do it

i just give explanation,

no have particular files or project that leads to crash (except perhaps the project with lounge lizard vsti, but i'm not sure it's the reason of the bug, because project without lounge lizard leads to crash too)

work with live 7 can leads to crash... because, after 7.0.1, 7.0.2 and 7.0.3 it's allways a so buggy software.

it's the only feeling i have at present ... and i don't trust it anyway at the moment for making music in good condition...

Hi,

As described on the page I linked, a useful file for the support is your log.txt file. Please attach it to your mail.

Same with me. I (still) feel not good when using Live "live". Always afraid that it will crash in the next moment. I don't have reproducable scenarios, but it crashes or slows down a lot from time to time.

Well it sucks for me because they broke support for the Novation Automap server and I can't get it to send MIDI sync out any longer.

Really, I have to agree with the original poster. Live 6 was always a joy to use, now I find myself spending more time troubleshooting than I do making music. I've reinstalled 6 at this point and I'm smaking myself for being an early adopter. I figured going from 6 to 7 would be as smooth as going from 5 to 6 was, but instead it's been a nightmare. I'm really sorry I upgraded.
