Ableton Forum

I’ve saved a default template so Ableton will always start up the same way but I’d like to take that template & move it to my laptop but I can’t seem to find where Ableton saves it.

When I go into the Ableton’s program file I found a folder named “templates” but it has to totally different ones.

Any ideas?

no clue. just start up Live and do a 'collect all and save' to a USB memory stick, or however you want to transfer the file.

'collect all and save' is always the best way to save data. do not move data by hand, use the File Management system, at least until you get used to Live.
